Stephen Collings was born in Bristol in 1979. After graduating in Film Studies from Solent University in 2001, Stephen followed other unfortunates down the path of administrative procrastination. In 2005 he successfully completed a postgraduate course in Film Journalism with the BFI. Since then, Stephen has been honing his journalistic skills with a variety of publications. In his spare time, amongst other things, Stephen likes to paint portraits of people who inspire, influence or pay him, and this site was originally created to document and showcase these works. Have a look at the art section
